A company with multi-year experience as a nursery as well as in the design and building of parks and gardens. For a number of years it has specialised in the production of mulberry cuttings, working with CREA, Padua, for more than 15 years to bring a new lease of life to moriculture and sericulture in Veneto and Italy.
In particular, it has carried out maintenance works on the multi-variety mulberry field of CREA, Padua, tree pruning operations at rearing and production facilities, and improvement works to the drainage system. It has also contributed towards the maintenance of the collection’s mother plants with reproduction by cutting, learning to recognise most Italian and Japanese mulberry varieties along with rooting techniques with specific hormone treatments and hot bed rooting.
It is specialised in assistance and consultancy services for the planting of experimental mulberry fields for silkworm rearing and the sorting of cocoons according to product quality.
Together with other silkworm farmers, in 2017 it contributed towards founding the Network of Agricultural Companies “Bachicoltura Setica” (Fair sericulture), of which Lino Bernardo is the President.
